Welcome to the Raven Barn in Danby, NY, at 137 Howland Rd. Nestled in a quiet corner at the southern end of Tompkins County, Raven Barn is an extension of the woodland home of Wes Blauvelt and Margaret Corbit. The Raven Barn houses their art studio and workshop. The Raven Barn Studio is on the Greater Ithaca Art Trail. We welcome weekend open studio visits and would love to work with you on custom tiles and mosaics. We also provide a place to rest a weary head or two or three in our Roost upstairs.

We are delighted to be included in Virtual Clay from the Community Arts Partnership (CAP) of Tompkins County. Wes and Corbit each have pieces that we are proud of, but we must say, the entire exhibit is stellar. This show was curated by Kari Zelson Robertson and Coleen McCall.

A lovely team of videographers from Ithaca College produced a documentary about the Art Trail members during Covid 19. Please view it here: https://youtu.be/ykboF6UCR0M

2020 was a quiet time of retreat. But we did create a few things such as those included in the 2021 Virtual Clay show from CAP.

Our artwork was featured in the summer of 2019 at 171 Cedar Arts in their annual Mosaic show. Each artist in this juried show presented 50 small pieces. A part of the sales went to fund programs at the center. Here we are hanging our 50 birds and bees.
